In the current climate, how much risk do you think is involved in property investment?

Property is still, and will always be probably the most solid investment vehicle in the world.  The key potential risks are interest rates rising and a drop in rental demand, and it’s imperative that you ensure your cashflow is such that you can absorb both a rise in your mortgage repayments and bridge the cost implication of any voids.

The PPP core business model is so robust that our franchise partners are still making an average of £15,000 annual pre-tax profit per property, with yields of around 16%.  Their break even position is when interest rates reach 10% – an unlikely occurrence.
